The Vertical Resonance Oscillatory Mixer (VROM) is a mixer that moves a mixing vessel up and down - up to 100 g's of acceleration. The device mixes a broad range of materials including liquids, pastes, powders and solids. The oscillation motion transfers energy into the mix materials through impact, shear, friction and differential pressure.
An advanced mix material sensing technology, MixIQ, allows customers to gauge the motion of the mix material operating under VROM processing to optimize mixing and avoid non-ideal mixing flow regimes. The operator can control the system manually by a predefined recipe or through our proprietary POWER input method.
VROM systems are purpose built for long-term durability and maintenance-free operation. Compared to other resonant mixers, VROM offers reduced service needs by eliminating vibrating sensors and electrical power cables within the mechanical system.
