Montana Mixers Introduces the VROM 2250 Resonant Mixer

New lab-to-pilot-scale mixer delivers sustained performance for higher payloads and extended mixing cycles.

Montana Mixers is pleased to introduce the VROM® 2250, the newest addition to our growing lineup of resonant mixing systems. The 2250 is available in ST configuration suitable for most materials, and XP configuration for hazardous/energetics use. Building on the capabilities of the 1500, the 2250 is engineered to sustain longer mixing cycles at higher payloads, delivering consistent performance for more demanding formulations and processing requirements.

Designed for laboratory and pilot-scale applications, the 2250 combines the versatility of VROM technology with the capacity to support larger batches and extended processing times. Its typical working payload range extends up to 9 kg, depending on material characteristics, vessel configuration, and processing requirements.

Engineered for Performance and Ease of Use

Like every VROM mixer, the 2250 combines bladeless resonant mixing with intuitive controls and engineering focused on long-term reliability.

Key features include:

  • Sustained mixing performance with higher payloads and over extended processing cycles.

  • MixOS™ browser-based controls for manual operation, recipe development, and power-based mixing.

  • MixIQ™ sensing technology to monitor material motion and help optimize mixing parameters.

  • Convenient vessel handling, including a quick-release vessel holder and available tool-free temperature-sensing and pressure-control lid.

  • Process flexibility with optional vacuum operation, temperature monitoring, and jacketed vessels.

The 2250 also incorporates Montana Mixers’ approach to mechanical and electrical reliability, keeping sensitive components and power cables isolated from vibration to reduce maintenance requirements and maximize uptime.

More Options for Scaling Your Process

The addition of the 2250 gives customers another choice within Montana Mixers’ growing range of laboratory, pilot-scale, and production mixing systems.

For applications requiring extended mixing times, particularly at higher payloads, the 2250 provides the sustained performance needed to support demanding processes without sacrificing the flexibility and ease of use of a laboratory-scale system.

Whether developing new formulations, refining processing parameters, or preparing for production, customers can select a VROM mixer that better matches their material characteristics, batch sizes, and processing requirements.
